Taraba State University, Jalingo (TASU) has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. This is an opportunity for UTME and Direct Entry candidates to secure admission into the university’s various undergraduate programmes.

TASU offers admission into several faculties and departments, including:
- Faculty of Education – Education in Arts, Sciences, and Social Sciences
- Faculty of Science – Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science
- Faculty of Arts – English, History & Diplomatic Studies, Theatre Arts, Language Studies
- Faculty of Social and Management Sciences – Economics, Sociology, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science
- Faculty of Agriculture – Crop Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Soil Science
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for TASU Post-UTME screening, candidates must:
- Choose Taraba State University as their first choice in JAMB or effect a change of institution before the registration deadline.
- Score 140 and above in the 2025 UTME (some competitive courses may require higher scores).
- Obtain at least five (5) credit passes in O’Level subjects relevant to the chosen programme, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- Direct Entry candidates must possess relevant qualifications such as NCE, ND, HND, or IJMB with acceptable grades.
Registration Procedure
- Visit the TASU admission portal to access the Post-UTME application form.
- Generate and pay the prescribed screening fee.
- Fill in the online form with accurate personal and academic details.
- Upload required documents such as passport photograph, UTME slip, and O’Level results.
- Submit the form and print out the acknowledgment slip for future reference.

- Ensure that your O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS to avoid issues during admission.
