The Post UTME form for aspiring candidates of Imo State University is specially for all interested candidates who participated in the just-concluded UTME exams and scored above 170 as their cut-off marks. IMSU Post UTME forms can be purchased online via the school admission portal at the IMSU website.

Imo State University Post UTME Requirements

Before applying for the Imo State University Post UTME form, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Applicants must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Some programs may require higher scores depending on competition and capacity.
  2. IMSU must be selected as the candidate’s first choice of institution during UTME registration. Candidates who wish to switch to IMSU can make the necessary changes on the JAMB portal before submitting their Post UTME application.
  3.  Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings. Acceptable examination bodies include WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB.

How to Apply for Imo State University Post UTME Form 2025/2026

The IMSU Post UTME application process is conducted entirely online. Follow these steps to apply for the IMSU Post UTME Form 2024:

  1. Access the Imo State University Post UTME registration portal @  IMSU website.
  2.  Create a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for the payment of the non-refundable application fee of N2,000.
  3.  Complete the payment online using your ATM card or at any designated bank.
  4. Return to the portal to fill out the application form. Provide accurate details and upload all required documents, including:
    • Recent passport photograph
    • JAMB result slip
    • O’Level certificates
  5.  After verifying the accuracy of your information, apply and print the acknowledgment slip for reference.

Screening Requirements

Candidates are required to bring the following documents for the screening exercise:

  • Printed acknowledgment slip
  • Original and photocopies of O’Level results
  • JAMB result slip
  • Passport photographs
  • Any other document as specified by the university

In addition to the online application, Direct Entry candidates must ensure their OND/HND/First Degree transcripts, ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level results, or their equivalents are forwarded to the Registrar, Imo State University, Owerri.

Key Notes for Candidates

  • Ensure that your O’Level results have been uploaded on the JAMB CAPS platform before applying, as IMSU will not admit candidates whose results are not available on CAPS.
