We have been receiving series of questions for UTME and Direct Entry candidates that used awaiting results during registration on how they can upload their O’level results after they have gotten the results.

How to Upload O’Level (WAEC NECO NABTEB) Result on JAMB CAPS Portal/Profile

1. Log-in to your JAMB profile (https://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility_/)
2. Click on ‘Check Admission Status,
3. Click on ‘Access my CAPS’
4. Click on ‘My O’level result to confirm if your O’level is uploaded. If not visit any nearby accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office to upload your O’level result. Admission cannot be processed for candidates whose O’level status in CAPS indicates ‘Awaiting Result’.

How To Check JAMB Admission List And Status

You can check your Joint Admission and Matriculation Board admission list / status directly from your E-facility page by following the steps below:

1. Visit JAMB E-facility portal at jamb.org.ng/efacility .
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. After successfully logging in, scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required column.
5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status’ to access your admission status.

OR

You can check your admission list / status on JAMB CAPS portal by follow the simple steps outlined below.

1. Go to JAMB portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/.
2. Login with your Email and Password.
3. Then locate and click on ‘Check UTME/DE Admission Status on CAPS’.
4. Select ‘Admission Status‘ on the left panel.
5. You can now accept/reject your admission offer under ‘Admission Profile’.

How To Confirm If Your O’Level Results Have Been Successfully Uploaded

Do not just upload the result and call it a day. Make sure you confirm that the results have been successfully uploaded on JAMB CAPS to avoid issues. Here is what to do:-

• Visit your JAMB profile at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
• Click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
• Then, click on ‘Access my CAPS’.
• To verify if your O’Level results have been uploaded, select ‘My O’level result’.
• In your admission profile, you should see a section showing the subjects and grades you have uploaded. If the upload was successful, your grades will be displayed. If the results haven’t been successfully uploaded, it will show as waiting results. (You may see AR)

When Both UTME and Direct Entry Candidates Can Upload Their Results

• After registering for JAMB and receiving your JAMB score, you should upload your O’Level results.  Your results must be uploaded before the institution can verify your qualifications for your desired course.
•  Direct Entry candidates should upload their O’Level results when completing the Direct Entry application on the JAMB portal.

In both cases, uploading your O’Level results early helps avoid delays and ensures that your application is processed smoothly.
