UNILAG Kicks Off 2025/2026 Post-UTME Online Registration Beginning July 28
The University of Lagos (UNILAG), one of Nigeria’s premier universities, has opened its online portal for candidates seeking undergraduate admission for the 2025/2026 academic session. The registration process was officially announced to commence on Monday, July 28, 2025, and is scheduled to close on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Who is Eligible?
To qualify for the screening:
- UNILAG must be your first-choice institution in the 2025 UTME.
- You must have scored at least 200 in the UTME.
- Hold five (5) credit passes in one sitting at O-Level, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025.
- Upload your O-Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal on or before 12 September 2025.
- Participation in the online aptitude test is mandatory—non-participation disqualifies you from admission consideration.
Former UNILAG students whose admission was withdrawn due to poor academic performance or absence may reapply for a different course, while expelled students are completely ineligible for readmission.
Registration Fee & Procedure
The application process attracts a total fee of ₦5,500, broken down as ₦2,000 application fee and ₦3,500 administrative charges.
To register:
- Visit the UNILAG website at www.unilag.edu.ng, navigate to Admissions → Post-UTME Application.
- Log in using your UTME application number as the username and your surname in lowercase as the password.
- Generate and print the payment advice.
- Pay the fee at a commercial bank or online.
- Return to the portal to complete the screening form and print your Post-UTME examination pass.
Test Dates to Remember
- Mock Exams (online): Monday, August 25 – Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
- Main Post-UTME Online Aptitude Test: Monday, September 1 – Friday, September 5, 2025.

The university strongly enforces a zero-tolerance policy on drug abuse. Candidates who test positive either before or after registration will have their admission immediately withdrawn, with no appeal allowed
