Screening Period

  • The registration runs from 11 August 2025 to 31 August 2025.
  • This applies to both UTME and Direct Entry candidates.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for BOSU’s Post-UTME/DE screening, you must:

  1. Choose BOSU as your first-choice institution during UTME registration.
  2. Meet or exceed the minimum UTME score set for your chosen programme.
  3. Sit for the relevant UTME subject combinations required by your programme.
  4. Have at least five relevant credit passes in your O’Level results, including English Language and Mathematics.
  5. Upload your O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
  6. For Direct Entry applicants:
    • Obtain a minimum of 9 points or Merit in NCE, or
    • A lower credit in ND/HND, or
    • Second Class Lower in a Degree programme, in addition to O’Level credits.

Cut-Off Marks

  • The general UTME cut-off mark for BOSU is 150 for many programmes.
  • Competitive programmes (especially in Basic Medical & Allied Health Sciences) require higher scores—examples include:
    • MBBS (Medicine and Surgery)
    • Nursing Science
    • Physiotherapy
    • Radiography & Medical Laboratory Science
  • Candidates who don’t meet the programme-specific cut-off are advised to change to a programme for which their score qualifies via the JAMB portal before registering for screening.

Screening Fee & Payment Mode

  • The fee for BOSU Post-UTME/DE screening is ₦2,000.
  • Payment is done via Remita (online card payments or at banks via Remita payment slips).

Registration Process

Here’s how to register properly:

  • Confirm your UTME registration details are preloaded or verified.
  • Generate the payment reference (Remita) and make payment.
  • After payment, complete the online form, providing accurate personal, academic, and O’Level result details.
  • Upload O’Level result(s) and any Direct Entry credentials if applicable.
  • Print out your acknowledgement slip or confirmation for your record.
