FUTA Admission List 2025/2026 Released — Check on JAMB CAPS

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has made public its 2025/2026 admission list, officially uploaded to the JAMB CAPS system. This means that candidates who applied can now verify whether they’ve been offered admission into FUTA’s undergraduate programmes.

How to Check Your Admission Status

To confirm your admission:

  1. Log into your JAMB e-Facility / CAPS portal using your credentials.
  2. Select “Check Admission Status.”
  3. Click “Access CAPS.”
  4. Under Admission Status, you’ll see whether you’ve been offered admission.
  5. If offered, there’ll be options to Accept or Reject the offer.
  6. Upon accepting, print your JAMB Admission Letter for clearance and further registration steps.

Tip for mobile users: If the CAPS menu doesn’t show fully, switch your browser to desktop mode — that often reveals hidden options.

If your status is Admission in Progress, Pending, or Not Admitted, don’t be discouraged. FUTA — like many universities — may release additional batches later.

What to Do After Admission

Once you see “Admission Offered”:

  • Accept the offer immediately via CAPS — delay may lead to losing your slot.
  • Print your JAMB Admission Letter, which is required at clearance and registration.
  • Follow FUTA’s instructions for payment of acceptance fee or other initial fees.
  • Prepare and submit required documents for clearance — original O’Level results, birth certificate or age declaration, identification, passport photos, and other items as specified by FUTA.
  • Proceed with registration, course selection, and payment of school fees once admitted.

If You’re Not Yet Admitted

  • Check CAPS often — more admission batches may come.
  • Verify your uploads — ensure your O’Level results and credentials are properly uploaded to JAMB.
  • Be patient and vigilant — many candidates get admitted in later rounds.

Final Thoughts

The release of FUTA’s 2025/2026 admission list is a pivotal moment for many students. If your name is on the list, act fast — accept, print, complete clearance, and prepare to start.

If not yet admitted, stay hopeful and monitor CAPS. The journey isn’t over yet.
