FUTA Post-UTME & DE Screening Form for 2025/2026 Is Out!
The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has officially opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening registration for the 2025/2026 academic session. If FUTA was your first-choice in the 2025 UTME and you scored 180 or above, this is your window to apply and potentially secure admission.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible:
- Your UTME score must be at least 180.
- FUTA must be your first-choice institution in JAMB.
- You require five (5) credit passes in O’Level subjects (including English and Mathematics) obtained in not more than two sittings via recognized bodies like WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
Application Starts 25th July
The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) will begin its online screening for the 2025/2026 academic session on Friday, 25 July 2025. The portal closes on Friday, 28 August 2025. If you picked FUTA as your first-choice and scored 180 or above in the 2025 UTME, you can apply. Same goes for Direct Entry (DE) applicants.
To take part, you must also have at least five credits in relevant subjects including English and Maths. You can use results from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or any other approved exam body, as long as you sat for them not more than twice.
How to Apply
Here’s what you need to do:
- Go to the FUTA website for full instructions.
- Fill and submit the Post-UTME/DE Application Form online.
- Print your Registration Slip after submission.
Be careful while entering your JAMB registration number and full name as it appears on your JAMB slip. Mistakes may cost you.
Pay N2,000 Screening Fee
The screening costs N2,000. Pay using Remita through any bank. First, generate your Remita code on the FUTA site, then take it to the bank.
If you don’t register before the deadline, you won’t be allowed to take part in the screening. No exceptions.
