The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially commenced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. Interested candidates who made UNN their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 160 or above are eligible to apply
Registration And Deadline Update
Originally slated to close on Friday, 15 August 2025, the UNN Post-UTME registration portal has now been extended to midnight, Sunday, 7 September 2025.
This is a crucial grace period—use it wisely to register or update your O’Level results if you’ve already applied.
Screening Fee
The screening fee is ₦2,000, payable via Remita at any commercial bank or online using your ATM card.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, ensure you meet all the following requirements:
- UTME Score: Minimum of 160 and UNN must be your first-choice institution.
- Age: Must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025.
- Waiting Results: Candidates awaiting results from Nov/Dec 2025 NECO or GCE are not eligible.
- Name Consistency: Ensure your O’Level and JAMB names match exactly. Name mismatches may result in disqualification.
How to Apply: Step-by-Step Guide
- Visit the UNN official website, then access the UNN Portal via the “Prospective Students” section.
- Choose the Online Application Form for 2025/2026 Admission Screening.
- Input your JAMB Registration Number to generate a payment invoice.
- Pay ₦2,000 using Remita at a bank or via ATM card.
- Return to the portal, re-enter your JAMB number, and fill out personal details, date of birth, and O’Level results (single or double sitting), along with exam centre and number.
- Upload documents (each max 100 KB):
- Birth Certificate
- Local Government Certificate
- Primary School Testimonial
- First School Leaving Certificate
- JAMB Result Slip
- O’Level Results (WAEC/NECO)
- Direct Entry Result (if applicable)
- Submit and print your acknowledgment slip. This confirms your registration.
For Direct Entry (DE) Applicants
Apply similarly via the portal. Ensure your DE result has been verified on NIPEDS before registering.
