Is JAMB result out for 2025? If you have ever written JAMB before, you will understand how stressful it is to wait for your result. The moment after finishing the exam, the only thing on your mind is, “When will my JAMB result come out?” You keep checking your phone, asking friends, and going online to find answers.  

Well, if you are one of the candidates for JAMB 2025, you are in the right place. In this post, I will tell you whether the JAMB result is out, how to check it when it comes out, and what to do if you have any issues.  

 What is JAMB, and Why is It Important?  

For those who may not know, JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) is the body in charge of giving exams to students who want to enter the university, polytechnic, or college of education in Nigeria.  

Every year, millions of students write the JAMB exam, hoping to score high enough to get admission into their dream school. This exam is very important because, without it, you cannot enter most higher institutions in Nigeria.  

 JAMB 2025 Exam Timeline  

Before we talk about the result, let us first look at how the JAMB 2025 process has been going so far:  

JAMB Registration: The registration for the 2025 UTME started on 3rd February 2025. There was a little delay because JAMB wanted to make some changes to the system.  

Mock Exam: JAMB held the mock exam on 18th April 2025. This exam is not compulsory, but it helps students practice and prepare for the real UTME.  

Main JAMB Exam: The real UTME took place between 25th April and 5th May 2025. Because there are many students writing the exam, JAMB spreads the exam over several days.  

Is JAMB result out for 2025?  

As of 6th March 2025, JAMB has not yet released the results for the 2025 UTME. JAMB releases results within 48 hours after each student writes their exam. 

But sometimes, it takes longer because JAMB may need to check for exam malpractice or fix technical issues.  

Since the exam is starting between 25th April and 5th May 2025, candidates should expect their results to come out a few days after their exam date. 

The best thing to do is to keep checking JAMB’s official website and social media pages for updates.  

 How to Check Your JAMB Result  

Once JAMB releases the results, you can check them using any of these methods:  

 1. Online (JAMB Portal)  

Go to the JAMB result checking portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEResults

Log in with your JAMB registration number and password  

Click on “Check UTME Result”  

Your result will appear, and you can print it if needed.  

2. Through SMS  

Send the word “RESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number you used for JAMB registration  

Make sure you have at least ₦50 airtime  

You will receive a message with your result  

3. Using the JAMB Mobile App  

Download the JAMB Mobile App from the app store.  

Log in and follow the instructions to check your result.
