Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Nigeria Police Academy admission, you must:

  1. Be a Nigerian by birth.
  2. Hold a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
  3. Score 180 or above in the 2025 UTME and have selected NPA as your first-choice institution.
  4. Possess six credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB—English and Mathematics included—earned in no more than two sittings.
  5. Be aged between approximately 17 and 21 years by October 31, 2025.
  6. Be physically and mentally fit, with minimum height and chest measurements stipulated:
    • Males: 1.67 m height, 86 cm chest
    • Females: At least 1.64 m height
  7. Be unmarried and (for females) not pregnant.
  8. Possess a valid email address and phone number.
  9. Have SSCE results from 2021 onwards — earlier ones are not accepted.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Visit the Nigeria Police Academy admission portal.
  2. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code.
  3. Pay the non-refundable fee of ₦6,000, which covers both the form and screening.
